My Bob Ross Adventure.

Like most of us, my Bob Ross journey began as a child, watching The Joy of Painting on PBS. I was mesmerized by the calmness in his voice and the magic of turning blank canvases into peaceful landscapes.

Years later, in January 2020, I took my first Bob Ross painting class—and it completely reignited that childhood spark. Before long, I was signing up for at least one class every month, falling deeper in love with the joy of painting.

By 2022, I had become the unofficial instructor’s assistant, learning everything I could. Later that year, I decided to follow my heart and enrolled in the Bob Ross Instructor Certification Program in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. That November, I drove across the country for a three-week adventure that changed my life. Those weeks were truly magical—not only because I painted every day, but because I was finally living my passion.

After returning home, I began teaching as a substitute Bob Ross instructor at a local Sip and Paint studio. Sharing the joy of painting with others has been one of the greatest blessings of my artistic journey. Through every brushstroke, I hope to inspire others to find the same peace, creativity, and happiness that painting has brought into my life.

Under Pastel Skies – Season 28, Episode 3. My sixth painting completed while in Florida.
